Art and Coffee activities take over Kona, Lava stays on the other side of the island

November 7-16, 2014 44th ANNUAL KONA COFFEE CULTURAL FESTIVAL The Kona Coffee Cultural Festival returns for its 44th annual celebration of Kona's world famous coffee. Hawai`i's oldest food festival combines a modern-day infatuation with coffee with Kona's old-world history as visitors, residents, artisans and farmers gather together to salute Hawai`i's preeminent coffee. The Kona Coffee Cultural Festival is adding new, exciting events in 2014 including innovative Kona coffee farm tours, native Hawaiian arts and culture events, keiki (child) friendly activities, and a celebration of cultural diversity all blended together in ten event-filled days honoring nearly 200 years of Kona coffee history. Nearly two dozen farms' coffee will be featured at Holualoa's unique art galleries and shops, from 9am to 3pm. Gifts, live music and more. Free parking at Holualoa School and the Catholic church.
